Precision Bikes made its presence known at the Lake Fausse Point social ride.
Word had it Jed Darby, in spite of a serious crash on Saturday, was back in the saddle!
Jed went down at about 30mph, when apparently his chain snapped and with all resistance gone, Jed flew over the handlebars and landed on his head!
Thanks God things turned out, relative alright.

It’s only the ‘young at heart’ that recover this quick;)

These pictures were taken on the PanCake Ride last Sunday. We had a great number of cyclists coming out in what turned out, after the initial chill, a beautiful day. We rode a metric 100/62 miles.
It being sugarcane cutting season, some of the roads where covered with mud, so it gave us a hint what it is like to ride in Belgium. (The mud sprayed on cyclists faces, supposedly is referred to as ‘Belgium Toothpaste’).
For anyone considering a nice paced (max 20 mph) Sunday recovery ride, I highly recommend this one! No one will get dropped on this ride and the easy pace makes for great visiting while pedaling ;)
Phil and Lynn Barnidge kindly opened their home as start/finish and after the ride we got treated to a fabulous pancake and fruit recovery meal, offered by the very generous Jed and Debbie Darby!
