Throughout November around 40 men of triathlon grew mustaches to raise awareness and money for Movember. To be precise 43 men raised money as part of this US based team, but some folks joined later to push the number from just below 40 participants to the final 43. The battle for the top spots was very exciting and the total money raised so far far exceeded previous Movember efforts. Currently the team is ranked 18th in the country with $34,442 raised, and more money is expected from Men Of Triathlon 2015 calendar sale. It is not too late to get yours, so buy many, and buy them often. Teaser images can be seen here, plus the calendar can be ordered here too.

However, here now are the top 23 fundraisers of the bunch. Why 23? Because we liked that number.

Mark Miller of Precision Bikes fame started this Movember team effort late but charged into the lead with a great attitude and managed to collect $3,661.49.

Congrats to Chris (Big Sexy) McDonald on winning Ironman Louisville today.  This win makes Chris a 5 Time Ironman Champion. Chris recorded a 48 plus minute swim, averaged right at 25 mph for 112 miles, and ran a sub 3 hour marathon. One hell of a day, enjoy the night and celebration of your victory. Also Lafayette age grouper Adam Fitzhenry had a great day with a 10:09.
Congrats Chris!!!

We have one of our favorite pros racing this weekend in Kentucky, IM Louisville.
Best wishes to Chris McDonald and also local athlete, AJ Fitzherdry, also Jon Bougeois, going after his second Ironman this year since completing IM Texas.
Guys and all racers have a great day. Chris was just trying on some finishers gear, what do you think Rezvani???

This place is beautiful, the volunteers were awesome. Plenty of water in plastic bags on the course, and yes there was ice. It ended up being a 90 degree day, which caught up to everyone on the bike. As far as the bike course, definitely a top 3 on the hard side. Maybe because it was early in the year but there were no flats and the wind blew all day. The run had some ups and downs but a good course. Big props go out to my partner on the playground today Stanley Lerille, he got his first Ironman in the book. He has come a long way in a short time and he did a awesome job out there on the course managing his race. A couple of days to rest and will tackle IM Texas with the Dave Leblanc family. Thanks for all the well wishes and support that I received. Also congrats to my teammates @bigsexyracing who were out here. Last but not least my girl from New Orleans now! Lisa Guillory who had a good one, with support from her Dad. #awesome!
For me it was a long day on the playground……
