Just want to wish a few guys good luck as they hit the road tomorrow and head to Texas for a Half Ironman. Their race will be Saturday, best wishes to Dave Suter, Ryan McNeil, Scott Guidry and Brett Relick. God Speed and safe travels. We will be waiting to hear about the adventure!

Big props for all who raced today, windy day but the swim did happen. 
Lot of people to congratulate but first off was Johnathan Lejune- way fast day with top 10 overall and 1st in his age group with a time of 4:02, and a run split of 1:09, 5:18 a mile. 
Also Mike Kinler with a 4th place age group finish of 4:32. Sean McArdle 6th age group with a time of 4:35, Brach Myers, Marcus Macip and Michael Delahoussaye all had a good day. 
Also our friends from Austin, Team Marsh which consist of Brandon  with a 4th overall Pro and his wife Amy with a 2nd overall Pro women.

Chris McDonald will be in Lafayette the week before New Orleans 70.3, April 17 thru the 2oth. Chris better know as Big Sexy which he goes by on Twitter has won 4 Ironman’s and has set bike course records. He hails from Australia, we will be glad to welcome him here to Lafayette.

New Zealander Bevan Docherty says he was snubbed by Lance Armstrong after winning the Panama half ironman on Sunday and knocking the seven-time Tour de France winner into second place in his first professional triathlon.

Docherty beat Armstrong by 31 seconds after overtaking the American on the running leg of the event, which was raced in searing heat in Panama City, not far from the western entrance to the Panama Canal.
