Martyn Ashton takes the £10k carbon road bike used by Team Sky’s Bradley Wiggins and
Mark Cavendish for a ride with a difference.
With a plan to push the limits of road biking as far as his lycra legs would dare, Martyn looked to get his ultimate ride out of the awesome Pinarello Dogma 2.
This bike won the 2012 Tour de France – surely it deserves a Road Bike Party!
Shot in various locations around the UK and featuring music from ‘Sound of Guns’.

Road racing is intense stuff. It starts with sacrifice and determination parlayed into tactical moves across the track. It’s marked by marathon training schedules, high-torque diets of diesel and kale extract, aerospace-grade technology ingrained into bikes built to catapult riders to the podium, head-to-toe spandex and, of course, mastering the intricacies of hair-removal below the knees. But, the real successes always lie in the shortcuts. In this edit of the Ekoi/Devinci pro team at Mardi Cycliste de Lachine, Canada’s biggest Criterium series, the virtues of the road less traveled are evident. Sandwiched between start gun and finish line Devinci’s “road cycling” team delivers everything from wall rides to skate-park session to stream dipping and chick hopping, all the while still finishing first. Devinci Leo SL. Express your freedom to ride.
