Want to share your love of cycling with your kids or grandkids?
Then (get your grown-up group ride ya ya's out in the morning, if necessary, and) join us this Saturday for a ride from Acadiana Park in Lafayette to Poche Bridge campground near Breaux Bridge.
It's a 9 mile out and back ride, with overnight tent camping in between, and a playground at beginning and end. Plan is to meet at the park for noon on Saturday, get organized, and pedal north by 1 p.m. Then, dinner, campfire, smores, stargazing...breakfast, break camp and pedal back for midday Sunday.

Weather predictions are partly cloudy with lows in the mid 50s and high near 70 Saturday and Sunday. Full moon on Friday night. Can't get better than that.
Tandems, trail-a-bikes, child trailers, child seats, or big kid bikes, you name it, it's welcome.
Carbon fiber, tri, and time trial, not recommended.
DON'T worry about having to be "self-contained" either, we have a driver to haul camping gear.
