Memorial Day




A heartfelt Thank You to those who have gone before us, serving this great country! Also thanks to all whom are currently serving to preserve our freedom.

  1. Drove in to Eunice today to eat lunch with Mom and also to visit my Dads grave on Memorial Day. Beautiful Day and thanks for the post Ruud.

  2. I had a heartfelt moment when I realized the grave indicated this soldier was a POW. I found out more information later that the soldier was at Batan in WW II. The atrocities there were indescribable. My father and uncles served this country and so did my brothers. Keep the idea of Memorial Day beyond that of a day off with Bar B Que. Thanks Ruud for keeping the idea alive. We are lucky to have you in America.
