Mark "Killer" Miller and Smitty "Mongoose" Smith took Ruud "Flash" Vuijsters along when going for a ride yesterday, in preparation for the Rouge Roubaix.Heading out South, we had a pleasant tailwind, which made us feel like fast dudes, needless to say, when turning right on highway 167 at Harvey's Seafood coming home, we paid the price. All in all it made for a fun 30+ mile ride, with temperatures in the low 50's and sunshine galore.
After this ride Ruud decided to ride the brutal 100 mile
Rouge Roubaix after all.... though it being behind the wheel of the GILES-SUBARU-PRECISION BIKES-OUTBACK....
We hope to get some first hand video reporting of 'Team Precision Bikes' on the gravel, this along with a Pro deserving quality of riders support!
Most likely 'Team Precision Bikes' will consist of: Mark Miller, Smitty Smith, Todd Trahan, Kyle Love, Donald Cleveland, Axel Vasquez, Eric Bernard, Eryn Schilling, Trevor Casper, Dave Suter, Rick Leoni, Tim and Claudia Thomas and possible Jamie Scott and Jim Winter. Also on the course will be Dave Suter's 'Camouflage' Truck offering support. Just as a suggestion; bring your spare wheels (with name tags), and leave them either in Dave's truck or PB's Subaru, just in the event you puncture....
'Team Precision Bikes' will leave from the bike-shop on Sunday morning at 4:30 AM SHARP!
