This is the view of a Cane Creek deep rim after a piece of debris whipped up from the road and jammed between the rear wheel and frame! This happened to Tony Morrow on our ride yesterday morning, about 5 miles south of Arnaudville. Needless to say Tony had to be picked up and I can just imagine that most of his Superbowl Sunday was ruined!Thank God no crash involved and in the end........ it's just carbon!
Dang Tony, you see - if you would have come do the fitness test Sunday morning, you could have avoided this...O well. I'm glad you didn't get hurt! Later man!
